Fleas are parasites that reproduce at high speed, so it is recommended to act
quickly against them. Profelis has proven high speed in addition to:

*Triple flea-killing effect: It offers protection against the various
stages of flea life.

*Ultra-fast action and high effectiveness: According to studies carried out, it ends with 98% of
fleas within 4 hours after application.

*Controls the immature states of fleas: By containing Pyriproxyfen, it alters the reproductive physiology
of the flea.

*Prevents re-infestations: Due to the residual effect of pyriproxyfen.

*Acts by contact: Prevents diseases such as rickettsiosis, bartonellosis, dipylidiasis
and Flea allergy dermatitis (DAPP).

Tick-killer action

Ticks can transmit diseases such as babesiosis hepatozoonosis, lyme,
among others. Profelis eliminates ticks by contact by breaking their life cycle, thus it is also
effective against Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus and
Dermacentor variabilis.

Pediculicidal and acaricidal action

Profelis has a double action against lice and their larvae. It is effective against Felicola Subrostratus.
It also contains Fipronil, a compound that has action against the ear mite Otodectes cynotis.

Part the hair until the skin is visible.

Apply Profelis® directly on the skin. The pipette should be empty.

What is Profelis® Drop On?

It is a product for exclusive use for cats, which eliminates and controls external parasites, preventing diseases in your cat.

What ectoparasites does Profelis® Drop On work on?

Profelis® Drop On has a fast and powerful action on fleas, ticks, lice and ear mites (otodectes cynotis).

How does Profelis® Drop On work?

The composition of Profelis® Drop On based on dinotefuran, fipronil and pyriproxyfen, allows a synergistic action to end by contact (KNOCK DOWN effect) against ectoparasites, ending with them without the need for stings or bites.

How long does it take for Profelis® Drop On to start working?

Profelis® Drop On begins to act one minute after application, reaching 100% effectiveness against fleas 4 hours after application.

From what age can I use it on my cat?

Profelis® Drop On can be used on cats from 8 weeks of age with a minimum weight of 750 grams.

How often do I apply it?

Profelis® Drop On is applied monthly at 30-day intervals.

What presentations does the product have?

There’s one single presentation: a Profelis pipette contains 1 ml of product and can be used in cats from 8 weeks of age and with a minimum weight of 750 grams up to cats weighing 10 kilos.

Is Profelis® Drop On toxic for my cat's health?

Profelis is totally safe for your pet, the concentration is minimal to cause intoxication, however, we recommend that the product is always applied by an animal health professional.
